Mend the Middle: A Plan to Invest in Saint Peter Middle School

After over a year of research and planning, voters approved a plan to invest $10.965 million to improve the health, safety, and educational adequacy of Saint Peter Middle School on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

Goals of the Investment Plan

Improve Health and Safety: By renovating common restrooms for ADA accessibility and adding a second stairwell, the plan enables the middle school to better accommodate users with disabilities and helps all students circulate efficiently between classes. Repairing windows and frames will eliminate water intrusion, improve the energy efficiency of the building, better regulate temperature, and prevent water damage.

Enhance Educational Spaces: New finishes, flooring, storage, and refurbished science and art spaces will aim to meet the needs of evolving curriculums, support interactive and project-based learning, and make the middle school a more engaging place for students to learn.
