See the latest progress on the maintenance and renovations at Saint Peter Middle School!
Progress is officially underway for the highly anticipated renovations and repairs to Saint Peter Middle School, thanks to the $10.965 million bond referendum approved by voters in April 2024. The project aims to modernize the middle school building to ensure it meets the needs of current and future students. Planned improvements include:
Phase 2 Improvements (Summer 2026):
Improvements include installing new ceilings, flooring, and walls, refreshing paint on existing walls and lockers, and adding storage cubbies and built-in upholstered benches throughout the hallways. Finish improvements will occur in the media center, band and choir rooms, the main gymnasium, auditorium, cafeteria, and more than 25 classrooms and offices. In addition, we are adding a new elevator along the east side of the main gymnasium to improve accessibility, and making various improvements to the mechanical and electrical systems to support overall air quality and building system efficiency.

Phase 1 Improvements (Summer 2025):
Construction will be completed in phases, prioritizing projects that minimize disruptions to the school day while addressing the building’s most pressing needs. Current top priorities include replacing the middle school’s chiller, boiler, and HVAC system to maintain proper temperature regulation.
